Texas / Wyoming Prairie Dog Hunting
Prairie Dog Hunts are conducted primarily during the months of May, June, July and August. We have property for Prairie Dog Hunting in both Texas & Wyoming. The pups show up around March and we begin hunting in May. The hunt is conducted on several large ranches. The hunters are stationed at one point and sit either in shooting benches or our high rack hunting truck.
Our Prairie Dog hunts are fast paced and require lots of ammo! We suggest bringing at least 200 rounds per day for shooting. You can practice your hunting skills during the off season. May be combined with other varmint hunts call for combo hunt prices.
Prairie dog hunting is conducted in the Texas panhandle. The Texas panhandle is prime Prairie Dog Hunting territory, and we have the best Ranches to hunt Prairie Dogs. Prairie dog hunts are May - September. Common calibers for prairie dog hunting include 204, 222, 223, 220 swift, 22-250.
